Just because your kitty is a family member is no reason to treat him or her to inferior and insulting foods and excessive use of
explanation marks!
This playful anytime meal is always welcome. Bake your own loaf of delicious rye bread lightly buttered all around the outside and stuff it with a generous portion of raw tuna from from the sea. Serve on a flat, real-china plate with a room-temperature glass of wholesome milk. No kitty can resist this.

Cook about 1/2 cup of the finest chicken pieces you can find. Expense should be no object. Mix with about a 1/4 cup of water in a fancy pot until the chicken is tender. Shred the chicken into small, lovely and appetizing pieces and stir in a boiled egg. Cool to room temperature before serving on a Gien France dinner plate.

Once each year, I prepare a small cob of corn for my kitty. CAUTION: Corn on the cob is not a health food for cats and it contains NO nutritional value. But, I boil a small cob until very tender and certain all the cob threads have been removed. I puncture every kernel with a small pin so that the corn syrup oozes out easily. I hold the cob in my hand while kitty licks the syrup without having to bite the kernel much. He loves it. It is a sort of treat. Be careful, though, cats can easily choke on swallowed corn pieces.

Yes, Bucky, I know my sweet kitty Triangle is not a vegetarian and I respect what nature has created. But Triangle loves my chicken, spinach and zucchini dinner about once a month. Not over-doing it.
Take a nicely roasted chicken breast. Don’t go for anything cheap. Get a good quality unit from your supermarket or neighbor’s back yard.
Boil 2 cups of leaf spinach until tender. Boil a tiny zucchini nicely chopped.
Add all ingredients to your blender until it is delicious with just a bit of texture. Serve warm but not hot. Makes enough for your kitty and any of her visiting friends.

I’m the Chief Chef at the Oakland Coliseum where the Oakland A's played for many years. Now that the team is gone, I’m working on recipes made from stadium remains, and mice are an important part of the stadium and professional sports.
Oakland was never really as well known as San Francisco just across the Bay, but here’s a parody of a San Francisco treat.
Instructions:
In an old, worn skillet, dump the vermicelli mix in and heat until golden brown.
Add some butter and water to taste.
Add one medium size mouse. Fresh is always best.
Saute until the aroma of the Oakland Coliseum locker rooms fills the air.
