P.J. Restivo’s first cat was Punnis, a beautiful black and gray tabby, not unlike Bucky, who lived with him just a year before the Creator Cat took her away. His special bond with Punnis was all too obvious, but another twenty years would pass before Buckshot (HRB Buckshot, Her Royal Buckiness, Bucky) would fall from Heaven into his waiting arms. Life with Bucky is a tribute to this magnificent creature and to all cats that give mere humans sloshing around on the planet a reason to keep on going, hoping and loving.
Restivo came to storytelling and Life with Bucky, the collection of short stories and the weekly podcast, through his work in television as Senior Producer of ABC-TV's Good Morning America, as four-time Emmy Executive Producer of the nationally syndicated PM Magazine, Elvis – Love Him Tender with Joel Siegel for ABC-TV, They Came to America with Larry King for Post-Newsweek Television, and Soap Opera Special for CBS-TV.
A native-born New Yorker, Restivo now lives with wife Barbara in Toronto.
